The siberis iris series began in 2023 using the leaves to outline woven planes. Both pliable and resilient, iris leaves have long been used as braided or corded elements in basketry, but are strong and compliant on their own. Siberis iris 1+2 have been shown at Joys Gallery, Toronto; Wild Teachings: Virginia is a commercial commission.
